QlikView Delivery Mode for 5 end users

Hello there: Good Morning

I would need your inputs around delivery mode and cost of license for the following case.

We have been working on a QlikView Pilot project in India and would like to share demo app with ~5 users (3 within the organization and 2 outside of the organization)

  • What is the recommended mode of delivery (web deployment or something else)?
  • How can we share the application outside of the organization? If yes, does it require “Server Setup”?
  • What would be the cost of license for the end users (~5 users simultaneous access to the one single app)
  • Development as of now in PE, what is the approximate cost for 1 Developer license?

Thanks,

Narasimha K

Hi Narasimha

- My recomended delivery mode is web deployment

- You can share the application outside of the organization but it requires Server permission. Your internal IT team cam help you on this.

- License costs are highly confidential better you can approach Qliktech Sales team. They will help you

Hi Narasimha,

Check this link for Qlikview licensing details

I think the better option is deploy the dashboards in server and then publish it for user.  If you buy the server and publisher I think you will get 10 named user licenses.  I think it is enough for you now since you have only 5 users now.

Jagan.

A QlikView server will allow users to access the application via a web page and will control the scheduling of reloads. If the users only need to access a single document then document cals will allow this, but if a user needs to access two documents then that user will consume two cals. You will need user cals for your report developers.

Publisher provides greater options for security, managing reload and distribution tasks, but I would not think it is necessary at this stage of your implementation.
