QlikView Desktop: Save Selections On Exit

I have inherited a qvw which does not save selections on exit / re-open.

Any ideas how to set it to save selections  ?

[The qvw has no document level triggers]

Many Thanks,     Bill

I know such behavior from apps with section access - maybe there is a section access or some old configurations from them. I use in most of these apps beside the restrictions from the section access an OnOpen macro which selects the current month and year. This isn't perfect but I could live with them.

In cases similar to above mentioned you need macros/actions to read and set the selections again, perhaps per bookmark.

Marcus,

It has Section Access and on its Document Properties | Opening tab, by unticking "Initial Data Reduction Base on Section Access" it now saves selections.

Your answer is certainly correct.

[Unfortunately it was not the answer I was hoping for].
