QlikView Desktop vs QlikView Server

Hi,

I wanna know whats the difference between how internally works QlikView Desktop compare to QlikView Server.

For example, always is faster open a document in Desktops, but the same documento in server take more seconds to open.

AFAIK there are no essential differences. Any differences in the performance will be related to the used hardware, network traffic and usage on the machine.
