QlikView Distribute Option

Hi All,

     Is there anything we need to specify while distributing a document for DOC Cal users,

     in which the document is having Section Access(NTNAME)..?

      Because after distributing users are not able to open the document.

If you distribute to all authenticated users, plus the user is part of the section access, and the user has a doc cal assigned, they should be able to open. Is there an error message or similar?

yes there is a message saying you dont have have permission to access the document.access denied.

Ok, so the user can see the document on access point?

However, they don't seem to be able to pass section access. Are you sure the NTNAME in Section Access is the same as in the top right corner of AccessPoint when the user logs in?

Also, make sure that if you use strict exclusion for your section access, the user has a valid reduction value in the script. All connections to documents on the server are considered USER and never ADMIN. So a document that might work for a user offline (being an ADMIN and no reduction value = can see everything) might not work online (being a USER and no reduction value = can't open document).

I am using the section access only to hide some tabs as per the users.

is there any other method..?
