This is my third attempt at installing QlikView on a Windows XP platform and the other two attemopts have been absolutely disastrous from a performance standpoint. I would like someone out there to tell me what the absolute minimum is from a hardware (RAM) perspective in order to get reasonable performance levels. I am in a Teradata shop where the average table size ranges in the 100s of millions of rows. Doing analysis in memory is probably not going to happen considering the volume. I am looking to work on a subset of that data volume though.
Your input will greatly help me in continuing my efforts in evaluating this product.
