QlikView Server 11.20 Upgrade

Hi,

I need to upgrade my QV server to the latest SR9.  Having not done this before, I am looking for any help / guidance, or lessons learned.  The instructions only tell you about upgrading from ver 9/10 to 11.

Is this an easy process, or does it take some planning?

simply stop your qlikview services

run the setup; it will detect a previous version then accept to overwrite the old version

after the setup finishes restart the server machine and you are done

Sounds simple.  I'm assuming it keeps all the current settings, and the apps in the C:\ProgramData\QlikTech folder

After stopping the services I would recommend you to make a backup of C:\programdata\qliktech as well. Also make sure you have your license information (serial + control number) if something goes wrong and you need to re-enter it.
