QlikView Server License Renewal

Hello ,

I was hoping someone could help me understand how to upgrade/renew the QlikView Server License.

Also, who performs the renewal. Is it basis team or the user itself has to perform the renewal.

To renew the QlikView Server license you need access to the license number and the control number; or a signed license key.

You also need to have access to the QMC, so normally it is one of the QlikView admin who updates the license when needed.

Thank you, this serves the purpose.

The license number is already present when QMC is opened. However the control number is not present.

Is the control number provided along with the the new license when purchased?

@dheerajhj  Yes the control number is provided along with the licence when you recive confirmation of the purchase. Worth mentioning is that the control number does not change when adding CALs to you license, so if you have an old record of the control number then you could use that one as well.
