QlikView Task Failed

Hello,

I am currently investigating a failed QlikView task.

I am wondering if the reason for the failure is due to a problem with the database connection or if it is due to another issue.

Could you please attach the log file and let me know if it is possible to investigate further?

Thank you.

Hi @qwebnm,

The returned error ORA-12518: TNS:listener could not hand off client connection is not a QlikView error per se, but is returned in the log as that is what QlikView is receiving from the source. As @PrashantSangle previously stated, the issue is on the database side.

Per https://www.dba-oracle.com/sf_ora_12518_tns_listener_could_not_hand_off_client_connection.htm, Verify that the listener and database instance are properly configured for direct handoff. If problem persists, call Oracle Support.  Suggest you reach out to your internal DBA regarding the error.
