QlikView and Statistical Software

Hi,

Does anoyone have experiences to share with regard to using QlikView alongside specialist statistical analysis software. I'm particulary interested where large data sets are involved and whether the capabilities of QlikView complement/replace/support these solutions. Specific experiences with Stata is also of interest.

Hi gmorrill,

I would like to know if you have any updates about the Stata - Qlikview connection

I don't belive QlikView has a connector to STATA yet, but it looks like you can convert .DTA files to .CSV files using 'R'.

Essentially, you can use 'R' to interrogate .DTA and spit out a .CSV that you can ultimately pull into QV.

A friend of mine works heavily in STATA at World Bank and this is how we're tryig to get him going with his personal visualizations of STATA data.

Here's a post on it from Stackoverflow:  http://stackoverflow.com/questions/2536047/convert-dta-file-to-csv
