QlikView cannot print chart under IE or Firefox

Hi

Just note that when I click the "Print" button on a QlikView chart, it doesn't print a copy as expected. Instead it opens another web page with the chart on it and displays :

[The requested content has been opened in another window.

If you know that this is not the case, press here]

Please help to advise what went wrong.

Thanks,

Eric

This is how the Print functionality works if you are using the AJAX client.  If you want it to actually open up the print dialog box right from the dashboard, I believe you need to use the IE plugin.

Hi Nichole,

Thanks for the reply!

I tried but it's still the same. I heard that my company needs to upgrade its QlikView version. Is this true? Pls. advise.

Regards,

Eric

As Nicole mentioned you will see that warning window when you are in AJAX...

if you try printing through "IE Plugin" then you dont get that warning.. assuming you have installed your IE plugin on your machine and accessing the "Internet Explorer version" instead of "Full Browser Version"...
