QlikView file failed to load.

QV April 2019. Licensed QlikView server. 64 bit Windows 2016.

A file used by 100 users is corrupted. The error message is that document failed to load.

It is an old file running for 10 years. Last changed was done early in September 2020. Daily reload without any issue.

Suddenly one day it cannot be opened. The problem is that I have a back up file but I cannot restore it. As soon as the backup file reloads the fresh data and saves. It cannot be re-opened.

The data sources are all QVD files. Reload task never has any error.

I have even rebuilt the whole app starting by copying the script across. However even without any front end objects, only the back end script, after reloading, it cannot be opened.

Log a case with Qlik support but they cannot help much. They ask to send them the file to see if it can be opened in their environment. I am not allowed to copy the file from customer's live server to my own PC though so I can't do it.

Have tried the app rescue and script rescue, they never help.

All the other QV document in the same server are working fine.

This is a huge issue to us but it looks that nobody has any clue.

Could anyone provide any help please?

Do you have any section access script?

Did you tried to run through QMC task?

or manually reloaded?

what is the error message your getting?

There is no section access.

The issue was started after QMC reload. So every morning it is reloaded in QMC and it always completes the reload task without any issue. Then it can not be opened.

I manually reloaded it many times.

I have restarted all the QV services and even ask client's IT to restart the whole server. Nothing helps.

The error message is "The document xxxx.qvw failed to load".

"The document xxxx.qvd failed to load". --     xxxx.qvd  ?    is  qvd getting failed ?      Qvd generator file is creating proper qvd's?

How does the datamodel look like - everything like expected in regard to the associations between the tables and also the number of records?

Did you try to the reload within the debugger - maybe with a reduction of 100 records for each load?
