QlikView objects in PowerPoint

Hi,

I have the following problem :

I'm running QV Desktop SR4 and I need to put a few objects in a PowerPoint presentation. I have installed the IE Plug-in SR4 but my objects don't appear in the ppt.

Any suggestions?

Thanks!

Hy,

You need to install a OCX and register that, no need to install IE Plugin.

So I couldn't add QlikView Objects in PowerPoint. The issue seems to be that I'm running Windows 7 as all of my colleagues who run on Windows XP haven't faced that issue.

I tried installing and uninstalling the OCX many times but it didn't help.

I now tested the issue on the following configuration :

WIn 7 + QV9 SR5+ OCS + PowerPoint 2010

and I still couldn't get the qv object to work in my presentation.

Hi p.nedelcheva,

This works fine for me with Windows 7.

My setup is :

- Windows 7

- Office Professional 2007 SP2

- QlikView 9 SR4

- QlikView ie plugin (9 SR4)

I never bothered installing the OCX as the IE plugin always seemed to support the drag and drop features.

Hope this helps.
