Hi,
We have downloaded personal edition to see what QlikView is capable of doing.
There are a number of users involved with different devices. We have a mixture of Macs, HP desktops, iPads and Android tablets.
Are there any issues with using QlikView with these devices ?
Would we have to change the application for each device ?
Thankyou,
MW

		Hi,
No you dont need to do or create a separate application to view the QlikView documents on the listed device's browser.
But the development can be done only on windows machine, where the Qlikview Client is stalled.
To access the QlikView applications on this device, you need to purchase the QlikView server and its License.

Kaushik Solanki

Personal Edition is only for one user, one doc is owned by one user/machineID combination.
A client is only available for windows. If you buy a Server you can view document via browser/app on all youre devices.

		Hi, Melanie.
Please be aware that you can only use Mac os to view reports via browser. Ideally, you will need a windows os for QlikView. As mentioned above you will need QlikView Server to really develop any solutions. The Personal Edition is not much more than a trial version.
Also have a look at QlikView.Next, the new version of QlikView as I believe the intention is to fully integrate all devices into using the same app without having to do any tailoring of functionality.
Regards,
Neil
