Qlikview 11.00 IR stopped working

Hi,

I installed QV on my laptop successfully and for some reasons i can't seem to apply the license. Each time i try to QV hangs and displays that above error message. Tried to reinstal but yeah the issue prevails please help.

Hi,

it is not recommended to install the Initial Release, because it is usually not as stable as later Service Release. If possible, reinstall QV 11 with the latest SR (which I think is SR 5),

Have you gone into the folder structure (Program Files and ProgramData (if needed)) and removed the folders and possibly removed any registry settings pointing to QlikTech, QlikView?

Start with removing the folders from ProgramFiles > reboot > reinstall

Hi Jaime,

Okay so i downloaded the QVLC SR5 and still had the same old problem trying to license it. It's really frustrating now.

Please advice and below is the screen shot of the error message displayed.Capture.PNG.png

Have you tried downloading the 11.20 SR5 software again?

Are you downloading the appropriate "bit" version 32 or 64?

Have you attempted to download the 11.20 SR4 software to see if this is more a technical issue on your machine or directly related to the download site, etc.

If all else fails, I suggest contacting Qlik Support Services.

Yes to all with the exception of the third one, that's installing 11.20 SR4.

I would try reinstalling the OS because I do not encounter the same issue on a different PC.

Hello guys, Just to let you know I make a clean installation of the OS and QVLC was successfully licensed.
