Qlikview AccessPoint

Currenlty on my AccessPoint,my document appears titled as 'Application.qvw'  Is there a way in the Qlikview Management Console to re-name the application to that when it is loaded on the AccessPoint, the application appears as just 'Application'

There is no way to do this in QMC. If you really want for Accesspoint, Why not to go with Our production folder to change (Any problem to change the file name on Production Server)

You could change this if you give the application a name within the document properties in tab general in the text-field title in the top-left.

HI,

No you cannot do this in QMC while loading.

I think all application on access point will appear with .qvw extension only.

@ marcus even if u change like that,in access point upon opening file tht top panel is not visible to users I guess. Its directly tabs they see.Correct me if wrong

Yes, you are right it changed only the title of the document within the desktop client or the browser but not within the access point list.

I think there is no native option to change this but maybe an adjusting alike this one: Scrap the long QlikView URL – use a friendly URL instead or a direct manipulating of the access point html- and/or js-files could work. In each case the link of the application must be a valid link with the file-extension of a qvw but the displayed name for it should be changeable. Should you consider to change the qlik-files I suggest strongly to make backup's of them before and if it worked to backup the changed one too, than each upgrade will overwrite them again.
