Qlikview Applications testing

Hi All

Data Migration from DB2 to Oracle ..Now they are asking me to do testing in Qlikview..How to do testing..what all steps involved in testing...

Could you please help me in this regard

My thoughts are that this could vary widely from one QV deployment to another, but the basic process I would use would involve:

1. Store copies of the pre-migration QVWs (End-User, QlikMarts, QVD loaders).
2. Ensure that all QVWs reload successfully when directed to the new data sources.
3. Compare new QVWs to the copies stored in Step 1 to detect any variances.
4. Dig in to any variances that exist and trace back through the data architecture to determine root cause.
