Qlikview Cache

Hi,

I have a qvw file with a table box with 10 columns. It is in minimized state. On document open in access point, it is maximized.

Does Qlikview caches this maximized data? or Qlikview caches only calculations?

Thanks,

Karthick S

Have you saved the QVW with the table box maximized and then published it?

Where and when have you created a state 'It is in minimized state'?

I have minimized the table at the time of development and published it.

Now I am opening that document in access point and I am maximizing it.

Does that table box data will get cached in qlikview memory?. After I close the document and reopen the document, would the table box get the data from the cache or from the qvw?

An identical calculation over the same data will come from the cache.

Thanks Rob that makes sense.

I am not 100% sure I understand your issue.

Is it about the minimized vs. maximized state when opening?

Or about caching calculation results?

Or are you mixing two questions into one thread, which should be avoided?

If you want to learn more about QV result caching, you can have a look at
