Hi Team,
I have two graphs in a page. One is defect and other one is Test Case.
My requirement is if i filter something in defects. I want my test case graph to filter based on defect-test case mapping.
Ex: In defects if i filter by Created on particular date(15-09-2015).The test case which are mapped to defect that are created on 15-09-2015 should come.
Is this kind of association possible in qlikview. If yes how can i achieve this?
I tried by writing query but the problem is i have lakhs of records in my defect, testcase and defect-test case mapping table. It is taking hours for the qlikview file to reload if i am writing this in query.
Please suggest me the optimise solution.
can you upload some sample data , so we can try to resolve by looking at data model.
Yes,,its possible.Share some sample data for better solution .
Hi Manoj,
I have attached the sample data.
I have two graphs one id defect details (X axis- Created on Y Axis-Count(defe_id).
Another graph is Test case coverage (count(distinct(TC_id_map))/count(TC_id)).
If i click filter on defect created on 13-09-2015,I want my test coverage graph to alter like count of test cases that are mapped to defects created on 13-09-2015 to total number of test cases.
Yes QlikView's associative in-memory DB supports this perfectly. The "key" to linking these two tables is to add the additional column of "TC Id" to the Defects table then QlikView will make this into a key-field that does exactly what you want.
Pls find attached application, This is what your looking ?
