Qlikview Macro - Pasword Protect Created Excel Workbook

Hi all,

I have created an excel macro which does  exactly what I need it too, however I have a requirement to password protect the excel workbooks I have created.

I have tried a few  different approaches but none of them seem to be working.

Does anybody have any ideas what the correct vb code is to do this?

Many thanks

Stuart

Hi Gysbert,

Thanks for your reply.

I have tried the statement which is included within the blog post, however the code states an error of "expected end of statement"?  I think this is in relation to the quotation marks & commas at the end of the statement.

Thanks

Stuart

No idea, perhaps you will have more success getting an answer on a site that specializes in vbscript instead of qlikview.
