I used two methods to connect to a SharePoint list in qlikview.:
1. HTML Method - In this a direct url of the SharePoint list as seen on the web browser is used in web files - internet files - HTML - character set is changed.
2. RPC Call method - In this a link is created using ListGUID and ViewGUID and is used in web files- internet files- XML and row table is pulled for the fields.
Both these methods work on the qlikview desktop client but when published on the QmC Publisher and task is run, both the tasks fail. Sometimes it even goes to queue status. Not able to readsharepoint list from qmc publisher .
------> Are there any settings required at the QMC Publisher end such as feeding the url into a required place or something. Where to place this url at QmC if something of that sort is required.
-------->It says that the SharePoint list can be read through the qlikview publisher using a functional id and this functional id needs access to read the SharePoint list. What is this functional id and where do we enter this in the QmC publisher . Are they referring to the user ID we give at the Distribute tab in QmC publisher. Require response to this
PLEASE post solution to this so that I am able to read from the SharePoint lists from Publisher. Urgently required.
