Qlikview Selections based on selections made on external application?

Hello All,

Is there a possibility that a user makes a set of selections on an external application (.NET screen, Java base application) and then user clicks on the button to navigate to a qlikview application which has the same set of selections made on the external application. Is this kind of functionality achievable ?
