Qlikview filter chart control

Qlikview filter, can only control a part of the diagrams in a QVW file, but not all of the diagrams？

In confguration -> Document properties you can set altern states, using this you can set a filter an a chart (diagram?) in the same altern state, so selections in these objects don't affect the others, wich would be in other altern state.
