Qlikview in IE and Chrome

Hi,

We have deployed some applications on access point. When we open the application from IE and try to use it, its very slow as compared to Chrome. Is there any issue while using Qlikview apps with IE?

     Have you tried to install the QlikView Internet Explorer Plugin? Maybe it make it run faster.

Always install IE plugin when using application on IE .

otherwise Azaxclient is used which is slower ...

The way the data is loaded is fundementally different between the two clients, check you have all the required ports open

     Go to your main access point screen and there you will see the link to "Download Internet Explorer Plugin".

I found older versions of IE (8 & 9) work very slow for Ajax. Assuming it's down to poor javascript execution performance. That's why Chrome, Firefox or IE 10/11 would be better choices for Ajax. If you're using IE 8 or 9 I echo others suggestion and recommend the IE Plug-in.

What version of QlikView and IE are you using?

Get the Latest Update and it will solve your issue.

Upgrade to the latest service pack. If not, view post linked below, may help.
