Hi i want to know the server roles which cant be done through publisher .

things to be done through server only.

what is exactly difference between QMC and QEMC

Hi Venu,

I would suggest you to go through the below post.

QlikView 11 - Server & Publisher Getting Started Guides

If you have QlikView Server you can schedule tasks, But security will be handled by NTFS file system here.

If you have Publishe you can Reload, Reduce,Loop and Distribute Qlikview documents.

For details look at the above link.

QMC and QEMC are both admin console to manage QlikView Servers.

QEMC was removed from version 11 on wards.
