We have Qlikview Enterprise Edition.

Our QLikview sessions keep timing out when we are inactive for even shorter period (about 15 minutes).

This is pretty annoying for all our users. Is there a setting or something I can do to overcome this issue?

document timeout in Setup/documents Under QMC

maximum inactive session time in Setup/Performance

and

same parameters in Documents/Server/Performance

Setup --> Documents --> Document Time Out = 480 minutes

Setup --> Performance --> Maximum Inactive Session Time = 18000 seconds

Documents --> USer Documents --> Server --> Performance --> Document Timeout = Empty

do you use qlik web server ?

or IIS ? maybe  have a look at the configuration

We are using qlik web server

Authentication = Login, Type = Ntlm, Login Address = Alternate Login page

did you check the qv server logs ? (especially web)
