QlikView Server and QlikVIew Developer can only work on Windows.

Among QlikView end user clients, Java Client and AJAX client can be deployed on Linux.

Not sure what do you mean by "wine"...

You are welcome to try to run it using Wine (no experience myself, might try it tonight), but running QlikView this way is not supported by QlikView support.

Hi!

I tried on my Ubuntu 10.04 and...it does not work very well! There are some problems with gdiplus.dll library.

WIthout windows gdiplus.dll works but is quite unusable...with windows gdiplus library (taken from Microsoft site) rendering

seems perfect but it crashes 😞

Finally I was able to run Qlikview on my Ubuntu, it works fine...the only problem is that it fails accessing to server...I am using Ubuntu 10.04, and Wine version 1.1.18 (taken from winehq site, deb package).

You have to enable gdiplus (the windows version not the native one!)

Hi Stefan,

Graphics seems ok on my version, are you using gdiplus, the windows version one? You could check with winetricks and reinstall gdiplus using winetricks application.

I tried this a while ago but it's almost impossible. I recommend you install a virtual windows instead.
