Hi!
I learned the hard way that Qlikview 12 doesn't seem to be Windows shutdown aware.
For some reason I still don't understand, Qlikview has to save all my data again even when I made a tiny change in a chart object.
The problem happens when you have a few GB file being saved AND the network administrator or a windows update requires a windows restart or shutdown.
Most windows applications are aware of the so called "CloseReason.WindowsShutDown
" and won't allow the OS to restart while there is risk of data loss.
Qlikview process gets killed while saving, leading to a corrupt file. (hope you had a fresh backup!)
Is there a way to avoid that from happening?
Thanks!
