Hi!
I learned the hard way that Qlikview 12 doesn't seem to be Windows shutdown aware.
For some reason I still don't understand, Qlikview has to save all my data again even when I made a tiny change in a chart object.
The problem happens when you have a few GB file being saved AND the network administrator or a windows update requires a windows restart or shutdown.
Most windows applications are aware of the so called "CloseReason.WindowsShutDown" and won't allow the OS to restart while there is risk of data loss.
CloseReason.WindowsShutDown
Qlikview process gets killed while saving, leading to a corrupt file. (hope you had a fresh backup!)
Is there a way to avoid that from happening?
Thanks!
