Qlikview

HI ,

I have totaly 3 QVW file in the server , i had reinstalled the server and now when i have given 6 user Named CAL , but when they login they see only one QVW file.

Can someone suggest me on this ?

And also as suggeste i commented the hidden script under the QVW file but after reloading it i dont see my dashboard screen .I think its hidden , how do we unhide it ?

Hi John,

I understand that the 6 CALs you have allocated are for the 3 qvw files you have?

Do the users all have access to the directory where the apps are located?

Do they access the apps via the Accesspoint?

Hi John

If you have applied section access to the other 2 docs, then they will not be visible in Access Point. Add the User IDs in custom authentication, then you can see these 2 QVWs in your Access Point.

Check for the access of the document to them.

Hi John,

Please First Check if missing Qlikview documents are in Root(Mounted) folder.

Next Check if users are given access to the directory where the Qlikview documents are located.

Next Check if Section Access is implemented for Qlikview documents , users are given access.


How are they accessing the Qlikview documents,thru Desktop/Accesspoint?

Through Access point ,

I have given 15 users Named CAL , at this movement all the users where able to  access one qvw file ,

After this confirmation I  gave other user the document CAL depending on their requirement , After this when use tried to access  throught Access point they dont see anything , the page goes blank

Hi John,

How many Documents are they in total?

Does named cal users able to see all the Documents(As per your query they were able to see only one out of three Documents)?

So you gave Document CALs access to users for the same document visible for Named CAL Users?

Is Screen going blank for Named Cal users or Document CAL users?

Did you check if Named/Document CALs are sufficient before giving access?

I tried to login with the user to whom i had given Named CAL , but after entering the Access point the page goes blank .

I have also removed all the Section access from all the 3 QVW files , but yet its not working on the Section access

If for all users its the same issue,please check if all services are running fine.

Yes i did check all the services are runing ,

An now again only one document is viewed , i dont know whats happening , when i log to access  i can see all the 4 QVW files , but a user sees only one qvw .
