Hi,

I'm having a issue with Assign task in qlikview Management console go to queued status and not reload in the scheduled intervals.

What can i do to remove this queued status and works normally.

Checked the solution Edit the space of the end of task name .But its unable to edit that kind of a task name.

Please help.

Queueing depends on various factors. At first your setting of concurrent tasks within the qmc. And then the number of cores within your server because max. number of tasks = number of cores (usually you should remain at least one below to ensure that the OS has also a core available).

Further there are more settings within the config-files with thresholds to the current max. CPU + RAM consumption. If the consumption is above them the task will be queued.

Before changing any settings take a look how many tasks run in parallel and if it wouldn't be more suitable to change the time-frames in which they run. The qmc settings to these task are within the performance-tab from the server-services and here you may also reduce the working set settings. Manually changing the config-files should be always the last measure and very well balanced against potentially side-effects.

it has develop 5 reload threads  mainly

      -15min/30min/one hour/3hour/daily

All the dashboards scheduled to relevant reload threads.

Then it will always gets automatically over lapping and moved to queued status.

Any method to remove the queued status through settings or any solution???

An overlapping of tasks and following a queueing of them is not a general problem else intentionally designed and a sensible feature. The queued tasks will be just updated if there are already resources available.

By a large number of tasks which may run in parallel and overlapping to each other you need to plan them entirely - maybe within a task-matrix to see:

  • how many tasks are there
  • how many task-chains are used
  • how does the run-intervals look like
  • how long runs each task in the average
  • how many resources will be consumed
  • a prioritizing of the tasks respectively task-chains

With knowing this you may consider any adjustment to the set time-frames of the tasks and/or to decide:

  • to change any settings
  • increasing the number of cores and/or RAM
  • using n dedicated server for the distribution engine
  • optimizing the whole reload-process by using (more) incremental layers and making all (relevant) applications more performant

I have seen tasks going into queue even when the memory and CPU are pretty much free on the server. mygiftcardsite The load balancer log file is wrongly showing "The system is currently overloaded"

Like above hinted there are multiple reasons why tasks would be queued. The log-message will be probably not differentiate between them.
