hi all,
I have small issue.
I have one list box wit 10fields
and i hve one stright table aswell.
my req is: only 6fields shud be shown default in stright table evry time.
and when even we select other value in listbox it shud be add in stright table...?
is this possible? help me out any one?

used this exp in dimension tab
settings for selected dimensions
=SubStringCount(Concat(_dimension, '|'), 'lFixTime')
if the selected fields/values should not visible in current selection box, use set hideprefix='_';

PFA file for solution, Company and Id columns are shown by default, if any other fields are selected then those are shown in the report.

may be, You can Uncheck the "Enable Conditional" for 6 default dimension
i hve unchekd 6 dimensions....still its nt wrkng

Select the 6 values you want selected by default. Then save your QVW file with those selections. If you don't have any macro/trigger that would clear that field, then those selections should hold when it's loaded (locally and on server).
** the default QlikView behaviour of the "check box style override" will automatically add new selection(s) to list.

i have added all the dimensions and unchked the default 6 dimesions....and remaing all i wrote the exp abve i mentioned and enabled
