Hi everybody:
I’d like to read mails from Outlook. I’ve searched already in the discussions.
Do I use a macro? Do I use the script? Does anybody have any idea or suggestion? Has anyone done that before?
Thanks.
Please open Outlook!
I want to do it with QV. Is there anyway?
Hi Christian,
Outlook comes with its own built in export function. From Outlook you should be able to export folder contents into a csv or tab seperated file.
For Outlook 2007: File -> Import and Export -> Export to a file -> Choose your format.
If you want to pull statistics from an exchange server I would suggest you look into the available cmdlets.
Thanks.
The discussion is wrongly set by me. I made a mistake. I didn´t really want the messages. What I wanted were the attachments.
I already have a macro taking those pst files and extracting (I don´t know how in the hell, somebody else did it for me) the attachments and placing them in C:\Temp. It works fine.
I haven’t tried yet with the messages but I think it would be possible, since for attachments it is.
Exporting from Outlook is great too. The thing is, you know, some clients don´t want to do any effort. They don´t even want to click twice. They just want all to be automatic.
Hi,
I don't know if this is still of use, have a look at this thread.
