Raw Report Table Slow

I have a table read from a tab delimited file with 60MB converted into a QVD with 3MB.

Its very slow to scroll in the table and QV won't resize its width with drag and drop.

It has 50 columns.

Any help?

From what I've seen the scrolling speed depends on the number of records... so, if you have a lot it will seem to be slower since each movement of the scroll bar is shorter because of the number of records... I don't think there's much to do about it.

About the size of the table box... if you enable the option "Size to data" in the Layout tab (Object Properties) it will change according to the number of fields. However there is a default maximum size and if the number of fields surpasses this size then a horizontal scroll bar will be shown instead of enlarging the object. Neither in this case there is something you can do.

I can back you on this one.  In our Qlikview files, we show a lot of data by tableboxes, and they are both slow to load and scroll!  Seems like there are little you can do to improve this. I just hope Qliktech will optimize this more in the future.

Hi,

Try size to data other wise you can do load minimum data with all column like depends on any condition

Eg:- Year wise, Month wise and Category or etc

and do analysis

Hope this helps

Thanks & Regards
