Hi,
- I am trying to read data from sharepoint list using RPC calls - owssrv.dll.
-It is not working perfectly when I read data in Qlikview from a sharepoint site which is within our network It gives me 'Access Denied' message.
- When i tried the url path in IE i'm able to get the xml data after giving the Username & Password when i entered into partiular page.
What is the problem? Can anyone help me plz
Hi,
The issue could be with the field name length on the share point list.
Make sure you have length of the field names of your share point list are with in a limited range. May be restrict to 50 characters. I am not aware of the exact limit but restricting the field name length does resolve this problem for me.
Please let me know if this doesn't resolve your problem.

Murali
Hi,
I don't have the field names with more than 50 characters. Even i'm getting the same problem.
Thanks for responding my request. If possible can give some more knowledge on this to me.
Hi Boppy,
at least, you shoudl have read access on your sharepont list to b able to access it thru QlikView.
i'm able to load data from sharepoint list without entering my credentials. If you need to enter credentials, i don't know how to manage that in QlikView
Hope this helps.
Hi,
Internet Explorer uses Windows Integrated Authentication, so you never see the username/password question. When reloading from QlikView server, there is another acount running the service.
Try this solution : http://community.qlik.com/media/p/169691.aspx

Link doesn't work AGAIN!
What is the point of having forums if the blasted links never work!
Not your fault but wish they would stop messing with the servers and breaking all these links.
