Reduce Data Function

Hi, Good morning.

This should be a pretty simple question.

While trying to use the Reduce Data function (File->Reduce Data->Keep possible values) it gives me a message saying:

"This will remove data permanently. Are you sure you want to do this?"

What does this really mean? Will this just remove the data from the table, until it gets reloaded?

This WILL NOT actually delete the data from the database will it?

I know this may be a dumb question.

This means that data will be deleted from the qvw document. QlikView does not delete data from the database.
