Hello everyone,
I have many QVW application having all my regional countries data but when i distribute the document into the Publisher i have to distribute by countries wise for local team people.
Lets assume:
My fact table:
Item,
category,
country,
date,
uintcost,
paidprice
Now what i did I have created one more table for reduce by NTNMAE .
NTNAME:
country,
NTNAME (format - Domain\user)
I have created the task like below screenshot but it doesn't work and I am getting only warning error. i really don't know why and i have referred many blog and tutorials.
I have attached the log file also for your reference. could you please advise how to fix this ?
Best,
Robert

I've faced such a problem
try to make the values under NTNAME column to be upper case
Hi Ali,
Thanks for your prompt reply. yours suggestion doesn't work.
from the log file QV is not finding any user as the ones found under NTNAME column
the NTNAME is not matching the SAM Account Name
the warnings are set for 6 users
pierre, qvusers, robert, tim, sohil, and stein
are these all the users or part of them?
Hi,
yes, My QVW application having six countries data So, i have created 6 NT user in my QV server and I want assign each person to one country.
My aim want to split the QVW as 6 and each user has to access their country data.
Best,
Robert
there should be a property that matches NTNAME it's either SAM Account Name or User Principal Name
Weird why your NTNAME is not matching Sam Account Name
Hi,
I really don't know that why my NT name is not matching ? do I need to change in my Windows system?
Whats User Principal Name - user@domain ?
What should i do ?
I have checked with manual data reduction by country wise, its works fine ... when i go with Loop filed, it doesn't work ?
Best,
Robert
NTNAME is the field you got in Section Access
it should be Domain\UserName
NTNAME in distribution should match SAM Account Name or User Principal Name
what values have you got under NTNAME field?
it should also be included in a table of your schema
Hi,
Indeed, i followed this blog http://community.qlik.com/blogs/qlikviewdesignblog/2014/05/26/section-access
NTNAME is the field you got in Section Access - Yes, I can Sign In AccessPoint by using NTNAME
I have created one INLINE table in my QVW and its automatically connected with my main fact table, the key is country.
NTNAME:
country,
NTNAME (format - Domain\user)
Then i did the Reduce and Loop task in order to generate the 6 application in my user document.
Best,
Robert
Do i need to any changes in QVW application?
