Reduced Document Name

Hi all,

I need your help to understand few thing about "Reduced Document Name"

(1) I tried to use date fields in name and I am getting numbers instead of Dates format.(screen2--> First row ending)

(2) I tried with columns which has alphanumeric values and I am getting nulls ((screen2--> Second  row ending)

So I am confused to handle them now.Can some one help me out ?

(3) Can we use some functions like date,max,min here or NOOOOOO?
