Referencing a straight chart cell/column

Hi,

Is there a way to reference a cell or column of a straight chart to obtain the contents/values for use in another object?

I have several straight charts with calculated fields and totals - I want to be able to add a text object that displays the sum of totals from each chart without having to recreate all the calculations.

I was hoping to be able to write something like:

=CH01.columnB.total + CH02.columnB.total + .....

where CH01 and CH02 are the Object ID's.

Is anything like this possible?

Thanks

Unfortunately NO

There is not.  You will need to use the calculation or store the calculation in a variable and reference the variable.

Hi

Try the "column(column no.)" command. Have a look in the help file.

p.s. Column no. refers to the columns with an expression within.
