Description – QlikView service down
QlikView Server could not temporarily access the License Key file, becoming an "unlicensed server" and therefore preventing access to the applications. License key was re-applied and the service restored. This issue has not reoccurred since last week. We have moved the license file from Windows file server to local storage on the cluster node.
Description –Users Unable to access one of the applications
This was a file locking issue. We restored application shared object file in order to bring back the services. We have raised a ticket with QlikTech to understand why QlikView Server would lock the file. This issue was also observed in v9.
Description -Users getting random ‘Pure virtual function call error’ when launching Access Point.
This issue is with Qliktech as a product issue. Couple of suggestions have been provided by Qliktech but these have not worked e.g. Window patch and upgrade IE Plugin from v11.0 to v11.2.
When user enters ok the screen refreshes and the issue goes away.
