HI David - I'd like to clarify - are you using Qlik Sense - or QlikView. The use of the term QVW relates to QlikView, but you posted in the Qlik Sense forum.

If you are using Qlik Sense, in general, you can scheduled a reload of the Qlik Sense app - using a trigger found in the task section - and configure weekly triggers with Start times and End times.

If using QlikView - you need to have the QlikView Distribution service (a.k.a Publisher) installed.

Let us know and we can provide you with the correct information.

If applicable, please mark the appropriate replies as helpful / correct so our team and other members know that your question(s) has been answered to your satisfaction.

Regards,

Mike

Hi David,

You can set the task to only run between XX:XX - XX:XX

Open trigger menu, choose run Hourly.

I click hourly...but it's the same as the screenshot above. I can pick a start time, and an "every x hours"...

no way to exclude reload time? Is Qliktech serious on that???

maybe

create a new task A (scheduled every hour) before your actual task

in that new task (script)

- check for time (between 8 and 5)

- make an error if not between 8 and 5

schedule your actual task on succesful exec of the new task A, it shuold run only between 8 and 5 (no error in task A)
