I don't know what the service account needs to access the QVW for reload.
QlikView Distribution Service is running like the rest. here is my table structure.
What do I need to change.
Also there is a section in the reload that allows for Username and Password which I tried with matching credentials
SWHQQV01\QDS
ACCESS | NTNAME | USER | ROLE |
ADMIN | SWHQQV01\QDS | ADMIN | ADMIN |
ADMIN | DOMAIN\BGARSIDE | BGARSIDE | ADMIN |
I ended up using a backdoor account with USERID in Data protection of Reload.
I think when I added it last time I forgot to reload it to inclusion.
ACCESS | USERID | PASSWORD | NTNAME |
ADMIN | ADMIN | ********** | * |
I guess you need to add QEMC user as Admin here. you can find that from your log file "Reload Executed By".
This should resolve the issue.
Thanks
If I knew how to locate the actual service account name I think I can fix this. the Machine name is: SWHQQV01\
even after a created a QV admin account and entered in like such. But no luck.
Is it this: QVDistributionService.exe its an executable don see how that helps me. I'm new at implementing Section access as we can see.
do I replace like SWHQQV01\qvservice
ACCESS | NTNAME |
ADMIN | SWHQQV01\QEMC |
Will other tasks running fine in your QEMC ???
If yes.Can you try this below approach if possible.Enable below property for actual QVW.
When you run the task from QEMC .QEMC will create one log file in that same folder.
you can find the Reload Executed By".
This one ran this morning. same app but no section access.
haven't found the key phrase. I think its due to the fact its SmallBusiness Edition?
I came to know that service account is nothing but your server computer admin account where your QEMC running.
This may help !
