Reload task takes too much time

Hello people,

Hope this finds you well.

What do you do if you have a table that contains millions of rows and the reload of data takes more than 30 minutes?

Thanks

Is this from a QVD or a data pull from a server, for example?

Hi Master_student,

Have you try to use QVDs? Maybe you can make QVDs with part of the information (years).

And

Always, in all my projects OLEDB it´s quick than ODBC.

ODBC Vs OLEDB

First question to yourself is do you need to pull the data from the server all the time? Can you save your information to QVD(s) and pull only new incremental data from the server? This depends on how dynamic your data is, of course.
