Hello Team,
I have scheduled Qlikview dashboard in Qlikview server and that is working fine for a long time. But now i see my Qvw files showing failed reloading error. I found the root cause in QVMC>Status>Task.
Here I saw all my Qlikview generator QVW as weel as all my dashboard qvw status .In these 2 QVW files showing failed error and others are reloading fine
I am surprised that 2 failed QVW files do not exist in my dashboard root folder .
2 month ago I had created 2 qvw files in my Dashboard folder and deleted them at the same time.
I cross checked the Dashboard root folder and found below files
PerformanceAudit-1.qvw.meta
PerformanceAudit-1.qvw.shared
PerformanceAudit-2.qvw.meta
PerformanceAudit-2.qvw.shared
Now I deleted all of 4 files too.
But Still QVMC showing PerformanceAudit-1.qvw,PerformanceAudit-2.qvw reload failed error in QVMC>Status>Task.
Please tell me, how to remove PerformanceAudit-1.qvw, PerformanceAudit-2.qvw form task of QVMS because these files do not exist in my dashboard root folder.
You can check attached screen shot too.
Thanks,
Narender
When this is done, be sure that no Licenses is allocated to the documents before you delete it again.
Hi,
you need to remove the tasks and also remove the Licences from qvw.
Press edit on task and remove the task i scheduler.
Hello Staffan,
How to remove task from QVMC as there no remove option in task(under QVMC>Status>Tasks).
How to remove license from qvw as PerformanceAudit-1.qvw not exist in reality.
Please clarify.
Thanks,
Hi Narender,
There is no remove, but there is a schedule on every task. Go to scheduler tab and untick reload.
It sounds like you deleted the files without first deleting the tasks (an easy mistake to make).
To delete the tasks, you will first need to replacthe qvw files in the original location. If you dont have them anymore, no matter. Create two new (empty) qvw files with the names of the original files in the original location. Then you can delete the tasks and delete the files again.
When this is done, be sure that no Licenses is allocated to the documents before you delete it again.
Hi Staffen,
I have created the same qvw and now I can see it under documents>user document in QVMC.
So please tell me how to check the license associated with this qvw file?
Hi Narender,
first of all, give the correct solution to Jonathan, he answer what to do first, even if that was my Next answer.
Anyway, I dont know if you use document CALs, but if you do, look into user document tabs and you will find if you have any allocated. If so, delete them. If you only use Named Cals, no License is allocated to the document.
If you have any document CALs you find it under "Assigned Users". Be sure that You set the "number of Cals allocated to this document" to 0
