I used a Mounted Folder (in different location from the root folder), so i was able to reload a .qvw from there, and still this document will not be exposed to the users.
But the reload is failed with this error: "Could not find SourceDocument (Distribution): qvp://bi-srv/Other QVWs/Customers.qvw"
Instead of reloading the documnent from uts actual location (E:\QLIKVIEW\QVW\Customers.qvw), its try to find it in qvp://bi-srv/Other QVWs/Customers.qvw.
What should i do to cause the reload to take place in the right place?
There are other ways to prevent the file from being available to users whilst retaining the advantagess of using the mounted folder (namely management from within QEMC and use in Access Point).
Do everything in the normal way but set the NTFS (Windows) permissions on the .qvw file to only be accessible to you or whoever should have access. The file will only show in the Access Point to those with access.
