We have 'schedule' dashboard which use for monitoring our schedule of employee. We put the qvw on our server and we reload task for updating dashboard use qlikview server. In last time there is no need long time to reload but lately the dashboard need time more longer than usual. By the way we use ver 11.20 in Windows Server 2008 R2, Does the version of OS and Qlikview affect performance? because as we know that qlikview version 11.20 ends its life soon. Does anyone have any suggestion?
The OS and the QlikView 11.20 shouldnt affect performance as it doesnt seem that you have changed them lately. Upgrading either of them would normally not benefit your reload performance.
You should have a close look at the log for the specific application reload to identify where in the load script execution the performance hit kicks in. It is most probably a data source that peforms slower like a SQL database and that the problem is due to a factor outside of the QlikView environment. It might be that an upgrade of the connector for that particular database needs to be upgraded or reconfigured.
