Remove domain name from URL link

Hi All,

I have created a button which associates an action of Launching a URL ,similar to below link

https://DomainName/QVAJAXfc\\qliksb01\qlikview\Document\...

Is there any way to prevent the link having the https://DomainName piece?

OR

Is there any way to remove the domain name from the link for AJAX Client?

What do you expect your browser to do with a partial URL that has no protocol or hostname part (except display "404 -Page Not Found"?)

AFAIK you can remove any characters from the URL field in the "Open URL" action definition. But the AJAX JavaScript code may decide to prefix some default values to your broken url anyway...

There are standard ways (outside of QlikView) to give a url a friendly name
