Removing Last Document State

Hi,

     I have a requirement from client. Let me explain the scenario to you.

     I have developed an application where multiple user access the same document throught browser and IPAD.

     I have a specific sheet that has to be shown always when the user hits the hyperlink in a webpage. It should happen regardless of the last sheet he has viewed.

     Currently what's happening is, when the user log in to the server, it is showing the sheet, he has viewed in his last login.

     My Client don't want this feature of QlikView.

     We are using QV 11 Server and Same Version of the desktop client. I am using AJAX Client to view the application in Access Point.

     I have some few doubts in this.

     1. Unchecking the Allow Session Recovery Option in Server Management Console. would this be helpful to me to solve this issue?

     2. In Access Point, We have a option called remove last document saved state. Is it possible to have same functionality in a webpage.

Anyone can help me in this?

Hi, Rajan.

Unchecking the Allow Session Recovery Option should solve your problem ( I used this before in QV 10)

... I'm not sure about your second doubt.

     I have tried that in Management console. still I am not able to get the result.

     Could this be a bug in QV11 Server?

I have the same in qv11. Have you seen a solution yet?

System > Setup > QlikView Servers > Documents > Allow Session Collaboration - unticked  (ticked by default)

I had the same issue but related to functionality within Chrome on a desktop. I unticked this and tried again and now it opens to the last save state of the qvw.

I would also check that you are running the latest build of v11 SR1 in case there is something in the latest build related to this. I'm running 11.20.11718.0 64-bit

you can use trigger on 'On document Open' event to activate the desired sheet.

   can you kindly let me know where is this option available On Docoment Option  tigger at the documen, i checked at the document property i could not find it.
