Hi all,
i've been trying to play around with reports in qlikview but having trouble understanding how they work.
For example, if I have a landscape page with two straight tables side by side, does it create a second page if any of those tables has too much data?
Ultimately I want to create a project status report which can be run from a project management app I have created.
Its great for analysing the data, but we need a report that can be generated, and saved/printed to take into steerco meetings or to clients.
any help would be gratefully appreciated
thanks,
Matt
in the report there are two kind of pages
normal page - this page will always return one page regardless of the size of the tables
if you have tables that span more than one page use the second kind
multi page this will return as much pages as needed to display the table
Thanks Liron,
are you aware of any documents out there (here) that go into more details about reports and how they work etc?
I really want to keep all of this in Qlikview - but I'm not sure how flexible the reporting is to be able to produce what I'm hoping it can look like...
