Hi All,
Why resident load is not preferred for large data sets .will it take more memory compared with qvd and preceeding load ? I would like to know what exactly happens in resident load when we use it ?
Thanks
A resident load uses a source table that's already in memory. So you're creating a new target table next to the resident source table that's already in memory. That means you need more ram then when you load from a qvd file.
resident load creates a next table in memory and its not optimized .....where as the data in QVD is optimized and it dosn't occupy so much memory as the resident load
resident load is using the to implement logical operation with out distubation the main data
