Hi All,

How to set resolution 980 x 590 with a tab row, and 980 x 610 without a tab row for QlikView application.

Thanks

Hi

how is your app being viewed? In the client or in the browser?

Hi,

so I assume it is supposed to be displayed in the Browser (via AccessPoint)?

In that case, unfortunately you cannot quite do it - in the main menu "Display", there are a few options to "fix window size" and "zoom" - maybe you can find a fitting setting there - but generally speaking, what you have in the Client - where you develop your apps - is not exactly what people will see via the AccessPoint. You have to test that,. and the users will have to use the zoom of their Browser. Sorry.

Best regards,

Hi qlikview7799,

I was wondering same question.

The point is official specifications on QV11 SR10 allow to create app on 1024x768 and Ipad should resize automatically.

In the 2 attachments, U can also see there are some recommendations to set native res for Ipad to 980x&610 (that I suppose you already have and read).

Problem is that this kind of res insn't available. (LOL)

I think you might try out the normal resolution and checking step-by-step while devoloping on the ipad view, or do the same with 800x600.

I know is not really helpful, but I am also interested to understand the right (and best) way to solve this.

So, I will appreciate if you could update your post with your next move or with the final result of your choice.

Thank you!

Hava a nice day!

Alex

here is a resolution guide attached (from Developer Toolkit).

You can create an image in any image editing software, set it to your desired resolution to serve your purpose.

Have a look at the Developer Toolkit to get an idea how to use the ipad_resolution_guide image
